Casual Arena Frequently Asked Questions

Click the "CHAT" tab or drag it right to open chat. Four chats available: public, match, private, and notifications. Start a chat by clicking "NEW CHAT" with a player's exact nick or via their profile. Drag left to close.

Open a user's profile or player list (online players, rankings). If the user plays the same game and is online, click "Challenge." Select your desired room and wait for opponent acceptance.

Click "Customize match" on the room selection screen to choose game modes. The more modes you allow, the easier it will be to find players for matches. "Play now" selects all modes. Availability varies by game.

Access the "Shop," select the design category you want, and browse available options. Most offer "Preview" buttons. Designs cost chips or require VIP/Premium membership. Once you buy a design, it will be yours forever.

In the "Chat packs" shop, click "Sort phrases" to show, hide, and reorder messages. Disable entire groups by clicking "Deactivate" on active packs.

Carambole and French billiards share one game. Click "Customize match" after "Play" to select Carambole only. Training mode automatically prompts you to choose the version.

Click any user in player lists and select "Add as Friend," or use the button on their profile page.

Click "Make your avatar" to edit hairstyles, eyes, mouths, jackets, and more. Avatar extras may be free, have a chip price associated or be VIP and Premium users exclusive. VIP members receive certain extras free; Premium members get all extras free.

Access all-time and monthly rankings on game pages. In-game, the "Ranking" button shows country-filtered and friends-only rankings. Check the "CA1's Hall of Fame" for top players per game.

Win online matches to claim the pot. Earn daily bonuses and monthly bonuses (VIP/Premium only). Purchase chips via PayPal or watch for Facebook promotions and contests.

Click "Settings" (lower left, main menu), scroll to "Game options," and click "Change" next to "Language." Choose from English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French.

All players access games, win points and chips. VIP and Premium players can also enjoy several extras. Click the star next to your nickname to view advantages and subscribe.

Click "Training" to select rules/options. Play against robots or another player on the same device. Neither of the options will get you points or chips. Training matches have unlimited turn time.

Use predefined chat for prewritten messages. If friends, use match chat for free conversation. Chat privately if both are friends.

Access the user's profile, click the three-dots button, then "Block" or "Report." Blocking prevents private messages and match challenges.

In "Settings" (main menu, lower left), go to "Your Account" and click "Change" next to "Password." To recover a forgotten password, visit the password reset link and enter your username or email.

Click "History" on the main menu to see recent matches with opponent nicks, winners, points/chips, dates, times, duration, and match IDs. Free users see 24-hour history; VIP see 7 days; Premium see 10 days.

Click the online player counter (upper right, main menu) to view a list showing avatars, points, levels, devices, and whether players are in games.

Click the "Chat" tab, then "New chat," and type the player's name. This lets you add them to friends and access their profile.

In "Settings" (main menu, lower left), scroll to "Privacy" options. Set "Challenges" to accept from everyone, friends only, or none at all.

Go to "Settings" (main menu, lower left), find "Game options," click "Change" next to "Country," and select your desired flag. This flag will determine in what country ranking you will enter and it can only be changed once.

Check your connection. If browsing works but game connection fails, a firewall may be blocking you. Remove the firewall or add www.casualarena.com to trusted websites.
